Time For A Change

12.01.2025

Thanksgiving (and, mercifully, BlackFriday) are behind us, and Christmas is on the horizon.

The political campaigns are ramping up—often in ways that are, quite frankly, embarrassing to witness.

Just a few days ago we received an email from a Republican candidate for governor that read:

“For $25, you can claim your very own [candidate name] Oregon white‑mesh trucker hat. It’s sharp, it’s classic, and it lets everyone know exactly where you stand while Oregon fights for a course correction.

Perfect for yourself… or for that friend who’s impossible to shop for.

These won’t last long—grab yours now and rep the movement proudly.

Within moments, an even more ridiculous email arrived from a Republican Senate candidate, featuring this surreal copy:

“I’m not a big ‘shopping holiday’ guy, but you know my focus is on getting more value for your dollar, so I’ve got a little surprise this BlackFriday.

BlackFriday Mystery Deal – What Merch Will YOU SCORE?

Because you’re one of my top supporters, I’m giving you access to a special merch deal today only.

Your access code is BACKTOBASICS. Don’t share it.”

Really—“Don’t share it.” “For your friend who’s impossible to shop for.” They actually said that.

This is beyond cringeworthy. Both candidates have been serving in the legislature for years, accomplishing nothing but selling out, compromising, and losing. Yet they (or whatever hucksters write this tripe) promise to “save Oregon” if you simply take advantage of these once‑in‑a‑lifetime BlackFriday, blow‑out extravaganzas.

I’m sure you’ll agree that Oregon does not need more carnival barkers. We don’t need “buy‑one‑get‑one‑free” deals on candidates who are supposed to be protecting our rights. We don’t need self‑serving hacks who bounce from office to office while racking up giant donations from out‑of‑state corporations.

If Oregon has any chance of digging its way out of the deep hole both parties have dug for us, we need new, fearless, disruptors—candidates who care more about saving a once‑great state than about airtime, trucker hats with their names on them, or their next floor speech.

I can promise you this: those candidates will not get help from the lobby, PACs run by former congressmen, or big corporations. But if they appear, take a stand, and show a willingness to fight, they will get help from us.

The establishment candidates have failed. With a few exceptions, the incumbents have not earned our support. Still, there is always hope, and it’s our hope that this election season will bring new, committed warriors whose goal is to make your life better—not just their own.

That’s where you come in.

As you know, donations to political action committees may qualify for a tax credit on your Oregon taxes. That’s not a deduction; it’s an actual credit. For the details and limits, please see this link: https://www.oregonfirearms.org/oregon-firearms-federation-political-action-committee.

We can assure you that no money will go to candidates who have sold us out. While no candidate comes with a guarantee, we will make every effort to weed out the weaklings and the compromisers.

To donate to OFFPAC, please use this link: https://oregonfirearms.ejoinme.org/MyPages/DonationPage/tabid/70447/Default.aspx. Be sure to select the “Donation Category” dropdown menu to direct your contribution to the PAC, and if your donation IS MORE THAN $100.00, provide your occupation and employer.

Remember, if you want to take advantage of the tax credit, your donation must be received before the end of the year. Donations that arrive in2026 will provide the tax credit for 2026, but not for2025.

The establishment’s sell‑outs have plenty of sources of money. Let’s give some new blood a chance.
