April 28th is the last day to register to vote in the May primary election.
Democrat Kotek is running with no significant opposition. She will win the Democrat Primary even though some of her strongest supporters have refused to endorse her.
Rest assured, they will all come back to help her win the general election rather than risk having a Republican become governor.
The Republican primary is a different story with different polls showing different leaders. Once again, the Republican vote will be split, potentially handing Republican voters a primary winner that garnered a small percentage of the Republican vote.
Of all the candidates, it is clear that several of them have no chance of winning. They lack the money to get their message out and they lack the votes to win the primary.
One of the top three candidates is going to become the Republican nominee.
We have made no secret of our position that Christine Drazan is the worst possible choice. Her rhetoric does not match her record. She has consistently sided with the enemies of firearms ownership. She has taken credit for things she has never done. As House Republican leader, she chose payoffs over standing up to the far left.
That’s where we stand. But wherever you stand, please participate. Recent years have given gun owners many reasons to wonder what the point of participating is. Time after time, the people who campaigned on platforms of “fighting for your rights” rolled over and let the Democrats shove more unconstitutional crap down our throats. So, we get it.
But while it’s easy and understandable to be frustrated and cynical, at this point in time, elections are all we have.

We strongly recommend that you deliver your ballots to a secure drop-off location or your county clerk’s office. Do NOT rely on the mail. And do not wait till the last minute.
When MZ 114 was on the ballot, the now disgraced Secretary of State, Shemia Fagan, declared it passed before all the votes were counted. Remember, every statewide office is held by a Democrat who is opposed to your rights. Please register if you have not, and vote.
