HB 4145, the Democrat’s latest attack on gun rights, is scheduled for a “work session” on Monday. Feb. 16th at 3pm.
Rumors that the bill is dead are… premature.
One of the chief sponsors of the bill, radical anti-rights leftist Jason Kropf, has introduced an amendment. You can see the “-3” amendment here.
While we will be doing a more in-depth analysis in the coming days, it appears that key changes are an elimination of the exemption to the restrictions of Mz 114 for retired law enforcement. It seems that retired parole officers will no longer have access to the “weapons of war” you will be forbidden from owning.
There may be more amendments offered before the work session so we will be watching.
