Criminal Protection Bill Moving Tomorrow

SB 243, the criminal protection bill that also makes possession of many firearms accessories a crime is having a “work session” tomorrow at 8.30 am in the Joint Subcommittee On Capital Construction.
The bill will then move right over to the full committee to be passed at 4pm. This means the bill will be on the floor very soon. For more info click here.

HB 3076, the bill to force gun stores to close, is now scheduled for a final work session in the full Ways and Means Committee along with SB 243 tomorrow at 4pm.
Clearly the Democrats plan to race these bills through as quickly as possible. Expect to see these bills moved to the floor very soon. If the bills are not on the floor by tomorrow in both Houses, the Republicans can walk away from this circus without fear of being denied the right to run again. If Republicans show up any day after tomorrow THEY PASSED THESE BILLS. Period
