Do You Remember Kevin Mannix?

03.03.2022

Do You Remember Kevin Mannix?  We do.

Kevin Mannix

Lawyer Kevin Mannix has filed to run for the House seat in the newly crafted 21st district.

If you’re relatively new to Oregon politics, the name might not be familiar. For others who have been around longer it may ring a bell.

While Mannix has run for numerous offices, and lost, he did serve in the Oregon House in 1999.

In fact, Mannix was the chair of the House Judiciary Committee.

Believe it or not, both houses of the Oregon Legislature were controlled by Republicans back then.

Mannix, who had been a Democrat, was then a Republican.

1999 was the first year Oregon Firearms Federation was active in the legislature.  Formed in 1998 after watching the institutional gun lobby bargain away our rights, OFF was created to stand up and stop the deal making and compromises.  And what a year it would be.

While it is often assumed that the Democrats are anti-gun and the Republicans support gun rights, 1999 proved that a letter behind your name does not mean much.

That year the Democrats were pushing hard to ban the private sale of guns at gun shows. Although not in the majority, they were making headway.

During that session Senator Ginny Burdick introduced legislation (SB 700) to end the private sale of firearms at gun shows. Despite our best efforts, the bill passed through the Republican controlled Senate and was sent to the House.

There, Kevin Mannix, set out to “amend” it. And amend it he did. Working with a group called “Oregon Gun Owners” Republican Mannix, and then House Rep Democrat Floyd Prozanski, actually managed to make the bill worse.

(Under Mannix’s bill you would have been restricted from selling or trading guns from your home.)

That was the birth of HB 2535.

From that point on, OFF worked overtime to kill this awful legislation, while “Oregon Gun Owners” pulled out all the stops to promote the new gun control bill they had help craft. The National Rifle Association withdrew from the battle altogether and never said one word to their members about the bill as it progressed through the legislative process.

It was a hell of a fight. OFF was brand new, still small and underfunded, and taking on the entire anti-gun machine alone.

On June 22, 1999, HB 2535 passed the House 34-26. Mannix proudly carried this bill on the House floor.

Things looked grim for gun owners. With both Republican and Democrat legislators pushing new restrictions, the National Rifle Association refusing to acknowledge that the bill even existed, and a supposedly “pro-gun” organization promoting it, the chances of beating it in the Senate seemed remote at best.

The original gun show bill had already passed the Senate. Mannix and Prozanksi’s even worse version had passed the House and now was headed for the Senate.

(A deal had been made to drop SB 700 and replace it with Mannix’s worse bill.)

We were uniformly warned that we had no chance of killing it. But OFF never gave up. With a constant stream of mail and electronic communication, OFF reached out to gun owners across the state who in turn hammered legislators. The Senate vote was scheduled for July 6. It was postponed until July 7 and again till the 8th. OFF kept up the pressure. The bill was postponed again until the 9th and again until the 12th.

When the vote finally came, after a chaotic and confusing floor session, the bill failed by one vote. David had slain Goliath.  Then-Senator Kate Brown attempted some last second procedural moves to keep the bill alive. They failed. The bill was dead. Mannix was furious. Ginny Burdick, who had made a floor speech when it looked like the passage was a sure thing and said “We rolled the gun lobby” was in tears.

After a long hiatus and several failed attempts at other offices, Kevin Mannix is back hoping to return to the legislature.

Oddly, in an opening email pitch for donations, Mannix said In Oregon, we have a citizen legislature, which means I can continue running my law firm while representing Oregonians from House District 21.” Why a guy running for a horribly dysfunctional legislature would want to kick off a campaign by telling people he did not plan to devote full attention to the job is anyone’s guess.  But Mannix has never been one to place the best interest of Oregonians above his own.

We know Kevin Mannix. Now you do too.

11.2005 Mannix for Governor?

Mannix For Governor?
By Kevin Starrett

Kevin Mannix, perennial candidate and career politician, is once again running for office.

We have been the lucky recipients of his first fundraiser of the 2006 election cycle.

If the quality of the letter is any indication, Mannix is toast, but he should not be underestimated. He lives and breathes public office. All that matters to him is to be in the public eye and he will do whatever he can do remain there.

Unfortunately, this includes telling anyone, anything at any time.
As a House Rep, Mannix authored and promoted a bill that failed, but was later turned into a successful anti-gun ballot measure by fanatic Senator Ginny Burdick. (Measure 5)

That was in 1999 and the bill was House Bill 2535.

OFF managed to kill the bill in spite of the efforts of Oregon Gun Owners to pass it, and the NRA to ignore it. But with millions in out of state money, Burdick was able to con the voters and pass a bill which has gutted gun shows in Oregon and added new layers of government intrusion into the lives of gun owners in Oregon.

But the fact remains, it was Mannix’s bill that Burdick passed.(Actually, Mannix’s bill was worse.)

Of course, later, when Mannix decided to run for Governor (after having run for everything else) he lied to gun owners and claimed he opposed the very bill he wrote.

Mannix gets an A+ for chutzpah and a F for honesty.

In Mannix’s fund raiser, he brags about having the support of past Senate Presidents Brady Adams and Gene Derfler. And why shouldn’t he? As Senate President, Adams was instrumental in making heroic efforts to pass Mannix’s gun control bill.

Derfler’s major claim to fame was his willingness to attack people like Senator Gary George, one of the few real believers in liberty in the Oregon Legislature.

Mannix started his career as a big government Democrat and switched parties when the Democrats abandoned him. His politics remain the same however. A new law is the answer for everything.

Mannix has demonstrated that he cannot be trusted. That’s not a quality we think we’d like to see in our next governor.

4145 Passes Out Of Committee

4145 Passes Out Of Committee

02.16.2026

To almost no one’s surprise, HB 4145 passed out of the House Judiciary Committee on a party-line vote.

The bill now includes the –3 amendments, which actually make it worse and even more confusing. That amendment was proposed by the chair of the committee—who was also the sponsor of the bill—far-left Jason Kropf.

Republican House Rep. Ed Diehl submitted a brief amendment, and Kevin Mannix, in his usual fashion, offered a 16-page amendment. As you would expect, neither amendment was considered, much less discussed. After all, those were Republican amendments. (Of course, in Mannix’s case, we use the word “Republican” advisedly.)

Like Ballot Measure 114—which this bill modifies—HB 4145 will put countless Oregonians at risk of jail time if they cannot prove they acquired standard magazines before a date that even the lawyers are not sure of. Keep in mind, no matter what you have been told, it is impossible to prove when you acquired a magazine. Any “affirmative defense” is an illusion.

The bill now goes to the full House for approval. At this time, we have no reason to believe anything is standing in the way of its passage—certainly not the Republicans, who are not even willing to stand up when they got smacked in the face by the Democrats over the transportation bill date change.

We are beginning to wonder if there is anything so insulting and egregious that the Democrats can do to the Republicans (and Oregon voters) that will get the Republican Caucus to stand up. It does not appear so.

Should you want to register your disgust with their cowardice, here is who to contact:

HB 4145 UPDATE

HB 4145 UPDATE

02.01.2026

As of the time this alert was created, the Oregon Legislative website was not allowing testimony to be uploaded on HB 4145, which we told you about in a previous alert.

While at the time of this posting the committee’s page shows the bill as being scheduled for a hearing tomorrow at 3 p.m., the page for the bill itself still shows no meeting scheduled. Again, these pages could change, but this info is accurate as of the time this alert was created.

So as of now, Sunday morning, you cannot post testimony about HB 4145.

If, in fact, the bill is heard tomorrow, many people will be denied the ability to post testimony before the bill is heard. If you intend to make your voice your opinion on this bill , please send your testimony directly to Vice Chair Kim Wallan.

A key issue  to point out to her is that 4145, which implements the restrictions in MZ 114, contains exemptions for retired law enforcement. That includes probation officers. One of the key provisions of MZ 114 was the prohibition on standard capacity magazines. For years now, we have been subjected to an endless litany that magazines over 10 rounds are “weapons of war.” So, it is hard to understand why a retired probation officer, or any retired law enforcement agent, needs a “weapon of war” when you can go to jail for having one.

Furthermore, Oregon’s Constitution specifically notes:

Section 20. Equality of privileges and immunities of citizens. No law shall be passed granting to any citizen or class of citizens privileges, or immunities, which, upon the same terms, shall not equally belong to all citizens.

Wallan and Representative Kevin Mannix, who also serves on this committee, are both lawyers, who we would hope have a passing familiarity with Oregon’s constitution.

CORRECTION.  Wallan received a law degree. She is NOT  a practicing attorney. We regret the error.

They should be demanding an amendment to remove the provision that protects one class of citizens while still attacking your rights.

The “Special” Session

The “Special” Session

08.25.2025

Today, in preparation for the “special session,” scheduled to begin on Friday, the legislature is holding a public hearing on LC 2, the massive transportation tax increase.

The “special session” is likely to take several days since the Republicans (at least for now) have not agreed to grease the skids to speed the bill through by suspending the normal rules.

They have, however, agreed to show up and provide the quorum the Democrats need to pass whatever they want.  While anything can happen, at least one Republican, Cyrus Javadi, has signaled his willingness to vote with the Democrats. Javadi recently, and comically, commented that he is quite confident that the millions and millions of dollars these new taxes will generate will be “spent wisely”. Which, of course, will be a first for the Oregon Department of Transportation.

While the tax and fee hike that Kotek is hoping to pass is not a firearms issue, this whole event is instructive for all of us.  Now all Oregonians will be getting a taste of what the legislature dishes out to gun owners year after year.

Even the controlled left wing cartel media recognizes that this bill is primarily a way for Kotek to protect her donor base and is not about keeping our roads safe. The point being that, once again, as they do with gun bills every session, the legislature will be trying to pass bills that were never crafted for the benefit of the people, only the politicians and their donors.

For the last few weeks leading up to this session, we have received countless blast emails from Republican legislators urging people to make their voices heard in opposition to this latest rip off.

Many even provided a link for people to submit written testimony. (Of course virtually all of Jeff Helfrich’s messages link you directly to his fundraising page.)

And the people have responded.  As of the time this alert was written almost 2000 Oregonians took the time to send in testimony. (You can upload testimony here.)

Oddly, while the page that displays all the uploaded public testimony normally lists the position of each person who submitted, making it quite easy to see the ratio of “for” and “against”, as of the time of this alert, that column listed all positions as “NA”.  In our cursory sampling we could not find any testimony in support.

Republicans legislators have complained in the past that gun owners were not emailing Democrats. But if you have been watching the submitted testimony of gun owners for the last few years you know that they have been very responsive and very vocal and very opposed to the endless attacks on their rights.  And yet over and over the Republicans have rolled over for the bulldozer of destructive legislation rammed down our throats by the Democrats and Republicans like Mannix and Javadi.  And while they complain endlessly about being in the minority and send out hollow and meaningless promises to “fight” for you they just keep showing up guaranteeing that the Democrats will get whatever they want.

So now the rest of the population is getting to see what it’s like to be ignored by the people who are supposed to work for you and in fact work for themselves and their donors.

In courts across the country, judges keep reaching contradictory conclusions about what the clear and unambiguous language of the Second Amendment means. And while we have had some unexpected victories in California , other courts are reaching decisions that turn the Supreme Court’s rulings, and common sense, on its head.

Oregon courts have proven to be no different and while we are still awaiting the Oregon Supreme Court’s decision on the constitutionality of Ballot Measure 114, the ban on firearms sales and magazine possession, their history and make-up do not bode well.

This means, that like every other Oregonian, gun owners must look to their elected reps to stand in the way of the endless and insidious attacks from the left.

So far, almost no legislators have shown the willingness to do that. And one who did was attacked immediately.

The Republican caucus and the Republican Party are in serious need of new directions and leadership.  Elections are coming up.  There will be the usual suspects asking for your vote.  Be prepared to ask some hard questions and demand real answers.

The 2025 Regular Session Is Over.

The 2025 Regular Session Is Over.

07.07.2025

Unlike many Republicans, we are not taking a victory lap.

In spite of the dump of press releases from Republican legislators, Oregon’s law abiding gun owners, once again, got screwed while criminals and crazy people got a big boost.

Not every evil and vindictive anti-rights bill passed, but only getting screwed half as much as promised is not a victory, no matter what they tell you.

SB 243 passed. And it is a terrible, outrageous, hateful bill designed to do nothing but hurt the people who (maybe foolishly) play by the rules.

And it could have been stopped.

So let’s summarize what this insane attack does.

First it outlaws an entire category of firearm’s accessories the legislators have called “rapid fire activators.” These include perfectly legal devices like forced reset triggers but also include items that have always been illegal, like “Glock switches.”

Unlike other attacks on your rights and your property, 243 not only makes your possessions illegal, it provides no compensation for taking them from you and no option to lawfully dispose of them.  Had they included these options we would still be forcefully opposed to this mean spirited nonsense but without them it’s clear their intentions are just straight up evil.

If you bought one of these items you will become a criminal (possibly a felon) the minute the law goes into effect. That would be Sept 26th. There is no legal option to transfer these even to a person in a free state. If you own it you can go to prison.

The constant repeated mantra of the sick people pushing this insanity was that these devices are only used to commit mass murders. House Rep, and militant gun hater, (except for himself) Paul Evans, repeatedly said “Anyone who needs one of these shouldn’t have one.”  You could say Evans misses the point. But that would be giving him too much credit.

No one “needs” one of these devices.  But thousands of people legally bought and used them lawfully, because they wanted to.  And because in America you should be allowed to do things that hurt no one and are legal because you want to without having to explain yourself to fatuous hypocrites like Evans.

Democrat Senators Broadman and Prozanski pounded the “mass murder” drum endlessly but for some reason,  while constantly regurgitating that line of nonsense, could not provide a single example of a law abiding Oregonian suddenly and inexplicably gunning people down with a binary trigger.

All we heard over and over and over, like the loop of annoying music on an ice cream truck, was that they were used in the Las Vegas shooting.  And frankly even that is doubtful given the astonishing amount of unanswered questions about that event which have now been flushed down the memory hole like former the January 6th bomber mystery.

Oddly, and perhaps comically, far left Democrat Senator Lew Fredricks, from north Portland, may have spoken the quiet part out loud when he noted that he does not get concerned about a person with a rifle in Burns. (Because he thinks they are going “bird” hunting.) But when a person in HIS neighborhood has a rifle he assumes they hunting people.  While Fredrick correctly addressed the problem, he still supported attacking the rights of people who are not the problem… or from his neighborhood.

But don’t assume that the Democrats who pushed this latest act of hatred and outright theft are alone in their willingness to screw you over.  Republican Senators repeatedly noted that they too wanted to make criminals out of law abiding Oregon gun owners if only that part of the bill was on the floor by itself.

Of course, there is more.  SB 243 also tells all the people who jumped through expensive hoops to obey the law and get a concealed handgun license (which is not even needed in most states) that they are chumps. Because while they may have demonstrated that they are safe, law abiding, and willing to play by the rules, they are going to be treated like trash. One more time.

Now, any tiny agency, board, or rabble of state bureaucrats can ban armed CHL holders from their meetings. Why? Well because a collection of neurotic women in tee shirts and Democrat nanny staters said so.  Throughout the debate on this bill, none of these charlatans could provide a single example of a CHL holder shooting up a cemetery board meeting. But darn it, those men with guns make us uncomfortable. So our lapdogs in the legislature are going to strip their rights away.

The sheer lunacy of this move would be obvious to a 5 year old.  There is no provision in the bill to provide any security to any agency that bans gun owners. There is no provision to provide metal detectors or swarms of armed cops like the clowns in Salem have around the clock. What this moronic bill does is advertise that a location is defenseless so if you do happen to be insane or a member in good standing of your local thug antifa chapter you know you can walk right in and wreak havoc.

Stupid?  Yes.  Counterproductive?  You bet.  But that’s the way we roll in Oregon.

And while it would be tempting to blame all this on carnival barkers like Broadman and Prozanski and Grayber (who believes we need to ban bump stocks and CHL holders from public meetings because .. well suicide) keep in mind that this latest attack would not have been possible without the active participation of the Oregon Republicans.

We told you which House Republicans showed up to be the doormats for the Democrats and pass 243 here.  When the bill then passed through the Senate every single Republican Senator except Kim Thatcher showed up to help pass it! And remember, in both the House and Senate, the Republicans who helped pass this dreadful assault on you, your family, your property and maybe even your freedom risked NOTHING by walking out. And yet, there they were once again, giving speeches, expressing their outrage and then folding up like a 4 dollar hide-a-bed. It’s disgraceful.

We repeatedly heard from legislators defending their refusal to stop these bills by saying “well they’ll just be back next year.”  Yes they will, and guess what Mensa candidates?  They’ll be back next year even though you declared surrender. We know because they told us. House Rep Jason Kropf, who regularly promoted his anti-gun crap by outright lying about Oregon law told us through tear filled eyes that these attacks are not about to end.  And still the Republicans roll over for the whipping and then send out press releases claiming victory.

Time after time we hear Republicans complain about anti-rights legislation saying “Its unconstitutional !  There will be lawsuits!”  But they never file any and they never pay for any. That, it seems, is your job.  But it’s not.  It’s their job!

We hired them to defend our rights not to back down over and over so they can brag about the new fire hydrant they scored for their district.  Not so they could vote over and over to advance the Democrat’s twisted agenda.  Not so they could make motions every single day to speed up the process of crushing the state by advancing bad bills without reading them.

The Oregon Republican Caucus celebrates failure as long as they can claim goodies handed out in exchange for their passivity.

The Oregon Republican Party rewards legislators who cave and protects candidates who will cave, as long as they’re “Republicans.”

It is the official policy of the Oregon Republican Party to elect anyone, no matter how willing they are to side with the Democrats, as long as they say they are “Republicans.”   This twisted philosophy keeps bringing us legislators like Charlie Conrad, Kevin Mannix, and Cyrus Javadi.

These attacks will continue. Your rights will continue to disappear session after session.  This progression cannot be solved by an endless series of lawsuits costing an incalculable amount of money that will be decided by judges who were appointed by anti-gun governors.  That is simply unsustainable.

We must hold accountable the people who sold us out.  We must create a sea change in the way the Oregon Republican Party conducts business.

Much of the rest of the country is moving in a positive direction for gun owners.  Oregon is going backwards at high speed.

As unpopular as our message is with the establishment we will continue to point out who took your campaign donations and your vote and then kicked you to the curb for a few dollars in state handouts.  (By “state handouts” of course we mean your money.)

Recent sessions have not been good for Oregon gun owners who are not criminals. Many of you did all you could to try to hold the Republican’s feet to the fire. You held up your end. Now we must make the people we hired hold up theirs.

A lot of good people are looking to move elsewhere.  For those who choose to stay we’ll keep spreading the truth.  We are deeply grateful for all the support you have shown us through these fights.

GUN BAN PASSES HOUSE

GUN BAN PASSES HOUSE

Republicans Provide Quorum

Kevin Mannix

06.25.2025

Today after a very long day of delays, virtue signaling, and technical glitches SB 243 was passed in the Oregon House. The ignorance demonstrated by the people who spoke in favor of the bill was staggering. Representative Kropf is unaware that Oregon has mandatory background checks. He again falsely (and tearfully) claimed you cannot possess a machine gun or a short barrel rifle. Representative Dobson thinks Congress banned bump stocks.

HB 3076 was returned to the Judiciary Committee effectively killing it for this session.

3076 would have crushed Oregon gun dealers. We are pleased that it has died the death it deserves. However, once again, Oregon Republicans provided the quorum needed to pass SB 243, a very dangerous and vindictive anti-rights bill.

SB 243 will make criminals out of thousands of good, law abiding Oregonians who legally possess certain firearms accessories considered to be “rapid fire actuators”. SB 243 will also strip concealed handgun license holders of the ability to protect themselves and others in countless public buildings.

The legislators who passed this hateful attack are protected every day by well armed security at all times.  Virtually none of the places where CHL holders will now be prohibited are protected. There is nothing in the bill that will require that these places be protected and in fact almost none will have the resources to provide the level of security the legislators enjoy. Those locations will now advertise that anyone planning violence knows they will meet no opposition. This is a disgrace.

This bill has already passed the Senate and will need to return there for concurrence. If the Republicans in the Senate provide quorum at that time, this bill will become law and Oregonians will be far less safe and far more in danger of becoming criminals.

The Republicans who provided quorum to pass SB 243 are:

Rick Lewis

Kevin Mannix

Bobby Levy

Mark Owens

Jeff Helfrich

Boomer Wright

Greg Smith

Shelly Boshart Davis

Vikki Breese Iverson

Emily Mcintire

None of these representatives risked anything by refusing to be there. Please remember them.

Update. The same people who sold you out are claiming victory!

But the real winners are the pro-crime, anti-self defense leftists.

But the Republicans keep taking victory laps even though gun owners were screwed for no reason.

Down To The Wire

DOWN TO THE WIRE

06.23.2025

We are down to the wire.

While 12 House Republicans were excused from the session today, the following Republican House Reps showed up to provide quorum. (Rep. Harbick was absent but not “excused.)

Breese-Iverson

Elmer

Helfrich

Javadi

Levy

Lewis

Mannix

McIntire

Owens

Reschke

G. Smith

The Republicans who were excused claim that they boycotted the session over the treatment of one of their members in committee.

In addition to showing up and providing quorum to advance the Democrat’s agenda, Republican reps made repeated motions to suspend the rules that require reading the entire bill before voting.  This constant effort on the part of Republicans to speed things up for the Democrats is greatly increasing the chance of passage of the two pending anti-gun bills.

SB 243 is now scheduled for a vote on the House floor tomorrow.

HB 3076 is now scheduled for a vote on the House floor on Wednesday.

We thank every one of you who contacted Republican Leadership.

Rep Christine Drazan 503.986.1451

Sen. Dan Bonham 503 986.1726

Every Republican who shows up from now on is voting to end your gun rights.

It is the official policy of the Oregon Republican Party to protect Republicans who vote against your rights.  This has got to stop.

Put Up Or Shut Up

Put Up Or Shut Up

05.27.2025

The House Speaker has declared that the end of the session is “imminent”.  This means that now things can move through the legislature with virtually no notice to the public. So, if you are trying to keep track of bills it will now be far harder and acting on them will become almost impossible.

Expect bad things to start happening very quickly. Currently the first of the attacks on your rights is scheduled for a vote on the Senate floor on Thursday.  That would be SB 243. This bill greatly expands the places you will be deemed a criminal if you are in possession of a firearm that you HAVE A CONCEALED HANDGUN LICENSE FOR!

CHL holders are the most law abiding people in the state and they are being punished because Democrats just don’t like them.  This is an insane way to make law.  There is exactly zero reason for this attack. It’s just one more effort to eliminate what should be a right.  The bill also bans poorly defined “Rapid Fire Activators.” This includes devices that have always been unlawful under federal law but also many devices that are perfectly legal to transfer and own.

If this bill becomes law thousands of Oregonians who acquired these devices LEGALLY will become felons, something the promoter of the bill, Anthony Broadman made clear he was perfectly fine with.

Not that it matters, but there is no “grandfather” clause and no legal way to dispose of these devices. This in spite of the idiotic testimony of Floyd Prozanski who not only claimed that a person could transfer them but actually suggested that if you owned one you could just keep it in your safe in violation of the law. Doing either will make you a felon.

While other really bad anti-rights bills are still in the mix and can now move with lighting speed, 243 is on the schedule.

Republican Senate Leader Dan Bonham has issued a “minority report” which is substitute legislation. His bill has exactly zero chance of going anywhere. It’s a symbolic gesture that means nothing.

Here are the facts. When this bill is voted on in the Senate (and the date can change due to scheduling issues) if the Republicans are on the floor, they will have passed the bill. It is that simple.  They cannot stop it. They cannot amend it. They cannot move their “minority report.”  If they show up they will provide the Democrats the quorum they need to pass this latest outrage.  And rest assured, there are others in the wings.

The legislature provides this link to determine who your legislators are if you do not know.  If that does not work for you call the legislature to find out who represents you in Salem. 1-800-332-2313.

If you live in a district that has a Republican Senator, let them know that you understand if they are on the floor for the vote, they voted against you. Period.  There are no excuses. The Republicans have been creating a barrage of emails, press releases, and Youtube videos reminding us of the damage the Democrats are doing to this state. But they keep handing them everything on a silver platter.

Some are going even further.  House Rep Vikki Iverson, not content with her previous sell out of gun owners, has now crawled into the political sack with Senator Broadman, the very guy who is happy to turn gun owners into criminals overnight.  And if that’s not enough Republicans are working to screw over Oregonians on other issues.

According to the Oregonian:

“Five sources with knowledge of the negotiations said the Republicans at the table include Reps. Kevin Mannix of Salem and Jeff Helfrich of Hood River and Sens. Bruce Starr of Dundee and Suzanne Weber of Tillamook.”

Your state is turning into a garbage can. Your rights are being eliminated, your property is under siege and every day the legislature finds new ways to put you in prison.

This has got to stop. No more press releases and lame videos. It’s time for Republicans to step up.

Is There A Light At The End Of That Tunnel?

Is There A Light At The End Of That Tunnel?

02.25.2025

Today was the deadline for the introduction of bills in the Oregon Legislature.

Among the new ones was HB 3742.

This bill would allow members of the legislature and their staffers to carry firearms in the Capitol.

As you know, the Oregon Legislature banned Oregonians with concealed handgun licenses from being on Capitol property armed, in spite of the fact that there had never been a single incident of a CHL holder causing a problem there. Now some legislators want to carve out an exception for themselves and their staffs.

We adamantly oppose this attempt to, once again, elevate the members of the legislature over the people they work for.  It’s an outrageous insult to the citizens of this state that they will continue to be denied their rights while dangerous extremists like Evans and Manning and their far left staffers are allowed to be armed.

All Democrat legislators (and some Republicans) have demonstrated hateful contempt for Oregon’s gun owners and this bill would reward them.

Oddly, among the Republican sponsors, the bill has a Democrat co-sponsor, Farrah Chaichi.

Chaichi is a member of the Communist Democrat Socialists of America and a regular supporter of bills to attack your gun rights.  Like Evans and Manning, she is one of the last people we want carrying a gun. Especially in a place where you cannot.

Now onto some good news. And there is plenty.

While the Democrats in Oregon continue their histrionic melt down over Trump’s exposing of the deep state grift,* changes being made by the Trump Administration are giving gun owners the best chance they have had for reform in generations.

The successful appointment of Kash Patel to run the FBI was only a down payment on the unprecedented changes coming to Federal law enforcement, organizations that have been turned into criminal operations by previous administrations.

When Patel was also chosen to oversee the ATF, one of the most dangerous and unaccountable collection of thugs in US history, gun owners were finally able to see a light at the end of the gun ban tunnel.  But the news got even better when we learned that Dan Bongino would become the Deputy Director of the FBI.

Predictably, deep state FBI staffers were horrified. And that is, to say the least, heart warming.

Of course, Oregon’s Second Amendment hating Attorney General has vowed to stand in the way of much needed reforms, but Dan Rayfield is about to find out that grandstanding blowhards are no match for what is coming from Washington.

While the Oregon Legislature will continue to use every resource to block progress, hijack your tax dollars, and eliminate your freedom, there is now reason to be hopeful that their corruption and grifting cannot go on forever.

(It may even be time to take advantage of deals like this one.)

Make no mistake, the sheer magnitude of the changes taking place in this country are unlike anything we have ever seen. This will not be easy, the left will ratchet up the lawfare and the street violence, the new administration will make mistakes, and the road ahead will be rocky.  But for the first time in a long time there is hope for positive reforms.

There are plenty of anti-gun bills waiting to be heard and enacted in Oregon.  We expect no significant opposition  from the Republican establishment. We will need to be prepared to watch and resist.

Stay tuned and we will keep you informed.

*(In an email dated Feb 24th, far left House Rep Paul Evans once again wrote of his outrage that the new administration is ferreting out billions in waste.  He says that Trump’s exposing of the outrageous theft of your tax dollars is harming the “morale” of the legislature. He then goes on to call for more spending for the kinds of programs that squander millions while Oregon’s roads continue to fall apart, its homeless population explodes, an its education system hits rock bottom. )

Today the Oregon House Judiciary Committee  heard Paul Evans’ bill HB 2774. Submitted testimony ran 100% in opposition.

Evans’ justification for this bill was an incident that he claimed happened 8 years ago, for which he provided exactly no documentation. The story he told involved a man who Evans said shot an injured dog that was being held by the man’s wife.

Evan’s once again treated us to a lengthy history of how competent HE is with firearms, and how many he owns. And then, almost by accident, mentioned that during a divorce proceeding for the dog shooter, the judge found the man had done nothing wrong. Could it be that the judge knew all the parts Evans left out?

We  warned you about  HB 2774 here.

As if to prove us right when we told you not to trust far left crazies like Paul Evans, today he went over the deep end.

In an email blast delivered today (but unavailable online at the time of this alert) Evans expresses outrage at the results of the Trump Administration’s revealing of BILLIONS of your dollars being stolen and wasted by “your” government.

But Evans wasn’t outraged at the theft. No, Evans was outraged that it has been reported.  Grifters gonna grift.

In his screed, Evans sends (ironically) dog whistles to the left with veiled threats of coming violence. He likens the Democrat’s seeing their criminal gravy train being derailed to the American Revolution.

“The War of Rebellion became inevitable when regional frustrations escalated into moral conflicts. Whenever challenges are defined through emotions rather than reason, there is a risk of division; the kind of division that cannot reconcile because of conviction and self-identity. Whenever there are participants knowingly working to lessen our trust in institutions, we are on the path toward greater disharmony.”

Put aside the fact that a serious distrust in crooked and controlled institutions is common sense, astonishingly he rails against the very situation Oregonians find themselves in and of which he is a major contributor:

We are entering uncharted territory; never in recent history has one party had such domination over all three branches of the U.S. Government and the surrounding ecosystem of ideological and political interests. Thankfully, we have not yet reached a point of no return.”

Oregon is totally controlled by far left Democrats. Every House, every branch, every executive office.  But while ignoring this irony Evans follows that with this demented comment:

Thankfully, we have not yet reached a point of no return. We are not close to openly choosing the power of the bullet over the ballot.”

Of course, this is absurd. Evan’s side long ago chose the bullet… and the firebomb. That’s why Portland’s Federal Courthouse is a steel clad fortress.  That’s why Michigan police stations were burned to the ground.  That’s why entire sections of Seattle were taken over by murderers and rapists. We are not “close” to choosing bullets. We are well past that point. And it’s Evan’s people who made the choice.

Evans bizarrely states:

“History teaches us that now, before open violence erupts, is the best opportunity to prevent a downward, uncontrollable spiral into chaos and worse. Here in Oregon, we are still able to peacefully gather and respectfully debate issues. Even though the national political scene appears dark, the moral power of the nation rests within the hearts of all Americans, not in party identities.”

It’s hard to imagine how delusional a person can be to pretend the violence has not already erupted and that leaders on the left are not actively promoting it. It’s creepy that Evans thinks that revelation of the truth makes the national political scene “appear dark”.

Evans, and Democrats coast to coast, are horrified that the truth is finally getting the exposure it deserves. That people everywhere now know how badly they have been ripped off by those in power. That the same disgraceful theft goes on in Oregon every single day.

But Evan’s delusions do not end there.  With a complete refusal to embrace reality Evans actually says the following:

“State governments, not the U.S. Congress, are the instruments for peace and progress. The modern political reality is that our nation has outgrown the ability of the federal government to discern prescribed, targeted solutions for our challenges. State governments working with our local government partners are far more able to find resolution to increasingly complex problems. Although it may not be said aloud, people have little real voice in Washington, D.C., but they can loudly roar at the state and local governance levels.”

The “state government” in Oregon has given us out-of-control drug addiction, streets awash in mentally ill homeless, skyrocketing violent crime, unsustainable housing costs and a bottom-of-the-barrel eduction system, all thanks to the policies of people like Evans. It has given us costly legislation like HB 2774 which has no public support yet still gets hearings.  (But of course the vocal support of “Republican” Kevin Mannix who sits on the committee.)

Like Democrats nationwide, Oregon’s Democrats are terrified that their grifts are being exposed and their payoffs to their friends are being revealed.  Like cornered badgers they are going to lash out at anything that looks like real progress towards fiscal sanity.  Get ready folks, it’s going to get uglier.

On another note, also heard was Evan’s bill HB 2710 which would allow victims of childhood abduction to be included in Oregon’s Address Confidentiality Program. This program shields the addresses of people who are in physical danger. It’s important to note that because  participation in this program means the person has no government issued ID with an actual home address, they are prohibited from purchasing firearms. This is an issue we have been attempting to address for years, and once again Senator Kim Thatcher has a bill to do just that. We are betting it never sees the light of day.

The House Judiciary Committee has scheduled a hearing for Paul Evans’ bill HB 2774.

The hearing is scheduled for 3pm on Feb 17 in Hearing Room F.

Democrat Evans, of course, has a long history of anti-gun extremism so anything his name is attached to is likely to be trouble.

The summary of the bill says : Directs the court to prohibit unsupervised parenting time with a parent who committed abuse if the abuse involved certain acts with a firearm.

Given the Democrat’s policies it’s hard to believe they have the slightest interest in protecting children from abuse, but what is most concerning is what this bill might become.

It could easily transform into a vehicle for amendments that will serve no purpose except promoting Evan’s dream of ending civilian firearms ownership.

That committee has exactly no reliable pro gun Republicans on it. Republican Kevin Mannix is a long time promoter of anti-gun legislation and Republican Kim Wallan endorses leftist extremists, so do not expect any representation from legislators on that committee.

We believe the Oregon Democrats will use any tool, tell any lie, and manipulate any process to impose their far left views on the people of the state. And Evans is among the least trustworthy of the leftists who control the legislature.

We will be watching this bill carefully for any attempts to use it against all gun owners.

You can see all the information about this bill including schedules and links to submit testimony here:

Unlike anti-gun groups that have received millions of taxpayer money from Democrat administrations, OFF is entirely dependent on the voluntary contributions of gun owners like you.

Your contributions to the Oregon Firearms Political Action Committee are more important than ever.

As you know, donations to our PAC may qualify for a tax credit meaning your gift to OFFPAC could cost you nothing. WHY IT MATTERS.

We have avoided the unthinkable.  The ascension of a low IQ quota hire to the White House could well have meant the end of the Republic. But even before all the results of this year’s election are in and counted the left has begun its expected drumbeat of hate and violence.

So there is still much to be done and while we can savor the 2nd Amendment victories in national elections let’s be cautious.

There is no question that a Harris victory would have been catastrophic, but Trump does have a history of making uninformed and bad decisions about guns. The recently defeated “bump stock” ban being the most prominent one.

Trump has taken some bad advice in the past, and his reliance on the NRA in that decision was just one example. The floundering NRA regularly endorses anti-gun candidates and its approval of bumpstock bans and “red flag” gun confiscations were typical of the kind of mixed messages that bedevil the gun rights community.  The federal judge who ruled that a state wide ban on gun purchases and a prohibition on virtually all firearm’s magazines was constitutional was a Trump appointee.

But it’s important to note that Trump does seem to be surrounding himself with a better class of people than in his first term and if he is wise he will take advantage of the work the Heritage Foundation has done in the last 4 years to find and vet high integrity candidates for positions in his administration.

The left has already proclaimed its determination to do all it can to undermine him and the recent actions of federal law enforcement agencies have demonstrated what he will be up against taking on the deep state.

But OFFPAC deals with Oregon races and issues, so why is your support so important?

Once again, we have seen that the biggest threat to committed, constitutional, Republican candidates is…the Oregon Republican Establishment.

And while we are pleased to be able to say that the very few candidates we could ethically support have won, it was in spite of the disgraceful efforts of the cabal of insider Republican grifters who worked overtime with the money from unsuspecting Republican donors to torpedo any candidate that stood up for your rights.

Not only did they do their best to crush good Republicans, one Republican “leader” actually worked to elect an extreme anti-gun Democrat.   Even after this duplicitous backstabbing the Republican Establishment protected House Rep Kim Wallan.

Let’s not forget that Wallan voted against an anti-gun bill because she didn’t think it punished gun owners enough!

The Cartel Republicans also joined together to throw pro-gun, Marine Corp Vet, James Hieb to the sharks to pave the way for the return of Christine Drazan. Drazan’s tenure as House Republican Leader was a carnival of capitulation to the far left.  Not only did the caucus abandon one of their most committed members, but the Clackamas County Party, which knows better than most what a disaster Drazan is and will be, refused to endorse Hieb’s candidacy sealing his fate to the lobby funded sell-out Drazan.*
*UPDATE. It should be noted that while the party voted against supporting Hieb, there were many patriots in the Clackamas Party that recognized the lunacy of supporting Drazan. In the end they were narrowly outvoted by the Cartel, many of whom rarely showed up to party meetings but were there to stick it to one of the most committed legislators in Oregon’s House.

The list of reprehensible dirty tricks by the “take the money and run” wing of the Oregon Republican establishment is too long to list. This was one of their most brazen and deceitful.

But while the results of this election in Oregon prove that no policy is too big a failure for the blue counties to embrace and repeat, the election of a handful of candidates is something to cheer about.

Dwayne Yunker, (House 3), Noah Robinson (Senate 2) and Diane Linthicum (Senate 28) won handily even though the Republican establishment did everything it could to torpedo them.  We are pleased to have endorsed and supported them.  Alex Skarlatos won the House seat that was vacated when Christine Goodwin attempted to move to the Senate. Her loss to Noah Robinson and her replacement by Skarlatos was a double victory for anyone cheering for candidates of integrity.

Their victories tell a story you won’t hear from the regime media and you won’t hear it from the establishment Republicans.  The fact is, these people, and others in more local races, won because of the financial support of people like you and the tireless courageous work of the Josephine County Republican Party which refused to go along with the losing game and stood up for these candidates.

In spite of the underhanded tactics of the frauds who brought vicious and deceitful attacks and created fake “pro-gun” organizations, the Josephine County Party stood strong, worked like crazy and elected people who actually stand for something. They should be considered a role model for county parties state wide. Rest assured the people they helped elect will be targets of the establishment and will need all the support we can give them. Skarlatos particularly, being new to Salem, will be under tremendous pressure to go along with the old failed guard. We cannot allow it.

The donations you give to OFFPAC go directly to solid candidates. They are not filtered through the caucus PACS who then distribute your money to candidates who agree to “play the game.”

That’s why your support is so important. You simply cannot rely on “insiders” to choose where your hard earned donations go. Back stabbers like Kim Wallan and gun control supporters like Kevin Mannix should not be getting the money you thought was going to pro-gun candidates.

The results of this election mean most of the same compromising Republicans and Marxist Democrats are returning to sell out your rights.  We must be able to support the few good candidates who are willing to fight the odds on your behalf.  Good principled candidates and legislators are facing attacks from both sides. Your support has been critical to show the honest few that they are valued.

Please consider a donation to OFFPAC and thank you for all you have done for freedom.

2024 Primary Election

05.24.2024

We wish you and your family a blessed and patriotic Memorial Day and honor the many Americans who gave all in the fight for freedom.

Oregon’s election month is in full swing. And unlike other, more backward states that force voters to actually come to the polls, show ID and vote in person, and have results by the next morning, more modern and progressive Oregon won’t have “official” results until…well who really knows?

However, it appears that there are sufficient numbers to call most races. The outcome is decidedly “mixed.”

Let’s start with the good news.

(The following races are all Republican.)

In Senate District 28 , OFFPAC-endorsed Diane Linthicum won over Dave Henslee.

Diane is the wife of Dennis Linthicum who voters prevented from seeking reelection through Ballot Measure 113. So the same voters who decided Dennis could not run for his seat again, handily elected his wife who will certainly carry on with his principles.

Diane has made it clear she intends to continue to fight for Oregon’s voters and not fold and make deals like most Republicans.   Henslee, on the other hand, made no secret of his plans to roll over for the Democrat agenda, refuse to stand up to them and instead “stay and fight” demonstrating he had exactly zero understanding of how things work in Salem.  After the election he was quoted attacking Diane saying She completely supports Dennis Linthicum’s voting record, and in my opinion, his voting record hasn’t benefited our district.”

Voters in the 28th are lucky to have chosen a fighter and not one more establishment stooge.

In Senate District 2, OFFPAC-endorsed Noah Robinson defeated Christine Goodwin.

Goodwin, who will now leave her House Seat and return to the private sector, ran a campaign that can only be described and vicious and repulsive.  She had her hatchet men, the Iverson clan, produce campaign material that was disgraceful and blatantly false.

Robinson is the son of Art Robinson, who like Dennis Linthicum, was barred from seeking reelection. And while, once again, the voters passed a measure to prevent them from voting for the candidate of their choice, they chose the candidate most likely to carry on the agenda of the candidate they prevented from running again. You have to wonder what would have happened had there been even one argument against the ballot measure by the Republicans. (Who were counting on the sure-to-happen “red wave.”)

(Interestingly, Senators Dennis Linthicum and Brian Boquist, who were prohibited from seeking their Senate seats because of a vote of the people, both handily won their races for Secretary of State and Treasurer respectively)

Goodwin was not helped by her “endorsement” of “Oregon Gun Rights” a PAC that did not even exist until after she claimed their endorsement. In fact, the PAC was created to give her what appeared to be the support of gun owners. As of May 24th, the “PAC” still only shows one transaction. From its creator, Senator Tim Knopp’s son…to himself.

Goodwin, who claimed to live in a rented apartment on someone else’s property, can now save some money and return home to her well appointed house that is actually not in the district she was running in.

Goodwin expressed disappointment that voters in the district actually wanted someone to fight for them rather than show up to advance the Democrat’s agenda like Goodwin did. She said “Yet, Republicans must remember we cannot expect to succeed by refusing to engage and participate in the legislative process in Salem.”   Translated that means “We must continue to provide the Democrats the quorum they need to ram their leftist crap down our throats.”

House Rep and former Republican Leader Vikki Iverson’s husband, establishment hack Bryan, bemoaned the election of a real fighter saying “They want that brand of Republicans that are just obstructionist, basically,… I think that they were pushing for that from the get-go, and that’s obviously how it turned out.”

The Republican lapdog establishment hates anyone who stands in the way of the Democrat’s Marxist utopia preferring yes men (and women) who will shut up and hand over what remains of the state to the left. “Obstructing” the Democrat’s plans is a bad thing according the people running the Republican Caucus.

House Rep, Charlie Conrad, who won his seat last time when the Iversons attacked his conservative opponent, and along with Republican Kevin Mannix voted to push more Democrat gun control (and of course still got and NRA endorsement) got soundly trounced by Darin Harbick .

While Conrad was the choice of the sell out Republican machine, he was not so loved by the people in his district who also did not appreciate his promotion of sex changes and abortions for children with no parental knowledge or consent.  Another set back for the Republican establishment.

On the downside, while Portland’s Marxist DA, Mike Schmidt, was removed from the Portland politics gene pool, his replacement, Nathan Vasquez, is no conservative, having run on his brag of having prosecuted “Proud Boys” whose major crime was shooting paint balls,  while antifa ran wild unmolested by Multnomah County’s “justice system.”

And demonstrating once again the absolute dementia of Portland Democrats, as of today, none other than failed mayor and minor attracted person, Sam Adams is leading for Multnomah County Commissioner seat. Hide your sons.

Senator David Brock Smith got reelected in spite of his support for providing tampons to kindergarten boys and the quorum Democrats needed to pass their bills.  Smith reliably showed up on the Senate floor day after day while others walked out , determined to protect his seat and the Democrat’s agenda.

Proving you can fool some of the people all of the time, Smith repeatedly used his bill promoting offshore windmills to convince people in his district that he opposed off shore windmills. It would appear that exactly none of Smith’s supporters ever read the bill. Smith is now free to once again use his office to direct taxpayer money into “non-profits” that pay…David Brock Smith. Really, who would have guessed?

But no race promises to have the impact of the reemergence of failed governor candidate Christine Drazan.  It’s hard to imagine a legislator who did more damage to the state and the party image than Drazan. As Republican House Leader Drazan voted time after time to zip tie the police during Oregon’s riot season. She celebrated the conviction of Derek Chauvin in the death of felon drug addict George Floyd, voted twice to put tampons in kindergarten boy’s bathrooms, changed the state song lyrics because they included the words “free men” and protected a Kotek staffer who was arrested at one of Portland’s nightly mostly peaceful protests.

Drazan’s humiliating “deal” with then Speaker Kotek  (which of course Kotek reneged on) was the most absurd of her capitulations but in the end, money talks.  Now she’s back having defeated the sitting Republican, James Hieb, and spending a boatload of lobby money.  It was “her” seat after all and no mere combat wounded Marine veteran with principles was going to stand in her way.

Drazan’s obsessive lust for attention virtually guarantees that she will once again attempt to claw her way to the Leader’s position and, given the makeup of the House Republican Caucus, likely succeed.  Drazan will no doubt see current leader Jeff Helfrich as a minor speed bump in her quest to return to her role as the mastermind of Republican surrender while hilariously selling herself as a “fighter.”  We suspect that the left over supply of “Jingle Jeff’s” Christmas campaign merch will be going for bargain prices as Drazan storms into the Capitol to retake the seat she knows “belongs to her” and once again leads the House Republicans to embarrassing defeats in the loving name of “bipartisanship.”
But at least now she won’t get smacked around by Speaker Tina Kotek. Now she’ll get smacked around by Speaker Julie Fahey.

Buckle up folks, the surrenders are coming.

This Is Just Sick

Just Plain Revolting

05.13.2024

We fully expect every election campaign to be a bare knuckles brawl, but some people go beyond what even we could imagine.

We have told you about the newly created “Gun Rights” PAC that was invented to give Christine Goodwin the illusion of gun owner support.

This was a group she claimed an endorsement from before they even existed. Then, only after she claimed their “endorsement,” did they appear as a PAC.

The “organization” consists of two people. The son of failed Republican Senate Leader Tim Knopp, and a staffer for Vikki Iverson.  While claiming they will support and help elect pro-gun candidates, their only transaction so far has been… to themselves.

Their webpage has a long list of candidates they  “endorse” but every candidate we have spoken to has disavowed them and one even demanded his name be removed.  The group refused.

The only candidates we know of who are embracing Knopp’s “PAC” are Goodwin and David Brock Smith.

Both are also boasting of their endorsement by a group called “Oregon Gun Owners.”

If you don’t know who “Oregon Gun Owners” are, here is the short version.  They are a wholly owned subsidiary of PACWEST Communications, a hired-gun corporate lobby firm.  Their list of accomplishments lately have been basically none, but if you go back a while you will see that “Oregon Gun Owners” helped draft and promote HB 2535, Kevin Mannix’s 1999 bill to ban private sales at gun shows.  When that failed they even attempted a ballot measure to do the same thing.  That failed as well.

While recently virtually the only “donations”  “Oregon Gun Owners” have made have been payments to their bookkeeper and, surprise….PACWEST Communications, a check on their past shows they have donated to anti-gun extremists like Floyd Prozanski and Peter Courtney.

It’s unclear exactly how someone gets an “endorsement” from a group owned by a corporate, for hire, lobby group, but clearly it’s not because you have been pro-gun.

But as much of a charade as these supposed “pro-gun” organizations are, they pale in comparison to a recent vile, disgusting, and plainly false mailer recently sent out by Vikki Iverson on behalf of her pal Goodwin viciously attacking fellow Republican Noah Robinson.

We almost hesitate to share it, it is that grotesque. And certainly if Goodwin and the Iversons crawled into the gutter they would be stepping up. But a picture is worth a thousand air sickness bags.

In the upper left the headline screams “Robinson Ran as A Democrat in 2012”.  But while this is a deceitful hit piece on Noah Robinson, the person noted on the flyer is not even Noah.

The upper right corner has an arial photo of the Robinson’s property with the absurd text “WHAT HAPPENS INSIDE THIS COMPOUND?”  That nonsense, of course, was pulled directly from the mouths of lying leftists. But, so we can illuminate things for the Iverson’s and Goodwin, we’ll tell you what goes on. Because it just so happens we know.

What goes on very often is the creation of thousands of campaign signs for conservative causes and candidates at rates way too low for the Robinsons to be making much.  They provided all our signs in the fight against Ballot Measure 114 and at a ridiculously low price.  If Goodwin and her cronies the Iversons don’t know that they might want to crawl up out of their mud holes and take a look around. This ain’t news.

Further down the flyer claims Robinson was “Sued By State Of Oregon For Not Paying His Taxes.” This is another blatant and disgusting lie told by desperate hacks trying to cling to power.  In fact, Noah has made it clear that he OVERPAID his taxes that year and the state sent him a refund.

To the right of that lie is a screenshot of the Legislature’s page with the contact info for Senators Brian Boquist and Noah’s father, Art Robinson.  The image attempts to make it appear that Art is not a Republican. (And Art is not even running for this election, Noah is.). But notice how these hacks used a separate screen shot to cover up Art’s party affiliation. Here is what the page actually looks like.

The bottom of the piece may be most indicative of just how despicable and desperate these people are. It shows a photo of Art Robinson, a decent and committed man, snapped in the most unflattering moment they could find from a legislative video.  We would say these people are disgraceful but that would elevate them.

Not to be outdone, friends of Brock Smith, who also proudly boasts of “endorsements” from Oregon Gun Owners and the vaporous “Gun Rights First” Pac, are soliciting volunteers for “ballot harvesting” (their words.) In a move straight out of the Marxist playbook, Smith and other “Republican” candidates, are “harvesting ballots” at an ASSISTED LIVING CENTER! The payoff to the folks who help? Root beer and ice cream floats. Do you suppose the folks whose living is being assisted will be getting any “assistance” in picking out candidates?

While it’s interesting that candidates who never lifted a finger to protect gun rights are desperate to appear to have the support of gun rights organizations, voters deserve to know what’s really happening in our elections. And it’s not pretty.

Do nothing organizations have long sought to cash in on the generosity and commitment of gun owners.  And often they are quite successful.

Don’t fall for it here.
