Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
like it or not our U.S. Constitution, including the Bill of Rights is the most unique document ever written by mankind. Our legislature is elected to uphold the Constitution and all that it stands for.
If a legislator wants to deviate from the Constitution our Founding Fathers wrote they need to immediately retire from office. If we as a country chip away at our Second Amendment then what is left for our legislators to redraft? Our Right of Due Process? Unlawful Search and Seizures? Right of Assembly or Freedom of Speech? I for one do not want to travel down that path and I (like are armed forces) am willing to fight to the death against those who would try to tread on me.
I leave you with one final question. How was Switzerland able to stay neutral through two World Wars? By law a male in Switzerland between the ages of 18 and 40 must own a machine gun and have an ample supply of ammo in his possession at all times. America is not nearly as liberal on gun ownership as some would try to persuade you. In fact as nations in the world are created, America is right in the middle, contrary to what some in our Country would have you believe. Here is the deal to Our Legislators. Do not try to Change the Constitution and I in return will not tread on you.
