Hello
I'm Delia Lopez and I'm running for congress. I am running because
I fear for our country and the legacy we are going to leave
our children and grand children.
We created this government to “secure these rights”
the first 10 amendments to the constitution commonly called
the bill of rights is just a small list of the rights the government
was created to be sure we never lost. So the federal government
was to secure = protect= enforce, my right to bear arms. I think
they now have it backwards. The government is now the most likely
entity to infringe on our rights! They are creating one government
program after another. Spending money we do not have and running
up debts to frightening levels. Foreigners own a great deal
of this debt and our children and grandchildren could end up
virtually as economic slaves.
We must not allow this to happen! We can stop this and we must.
Anyone that knows me knows, I am most likely to be happily weeding
my garden or on the back of a horse. I am far more comfortable
covered in mud and what comes out of the east end of a west
bound horse, than in a suit and behind a podium. We must all
step out of our comfort zone to stop this over reaching government.
I ran for congress in 2008 because it was shortly before the
filing deadline and my opponent had no opponent. That made my
blood boil. The man has a 0% rating for upholding the constitution!
He has an F- rating from Gun Owners of America. He is an admitted
globalist and believes the USA should be subservient to the
United Nations!
The big bill he proposed in the house last year is for mandatory
GPS devices in our cars to tax us by the mile to help stop global
warming! They could track our every move. Top it off with the
fact that the unit is made by Honeywell and they are one of
his biggest campaign donors. Such a coincidence!
I'm Delia Lopez and we can win this, but we all need to work
together to overcome his campaign war chest. Last election he
spent over a million dollars! We can do this if we all work
together!
